AttendanceCertificates of Enrollment |
If a student has an appointment or is checking out for an appointment, we ask that the student or parent send in a picture of the appointment card or excuse letter from the dentist/doctor/psychologist to [email protected] so we can excuse the absence.
At this time, many colleges are not offering in-person college visits; however, if a student has scheduled a virtual tour, we ask that parent/student forward the registration confirmation to [email protected] so the absence is excused. Please note that DHS will excuse up to three college visits/tours. A Certificate of Enrollment is required for both the learner's permit and driver's license. The ADAP certificate is only required for the driver's license. We are able to print the certificate only if the student took Health at Dunwoody High School.
Requests may be made by clicking here. If you have any questions or need assistance, please contact Ms. Stephanie Davis at [email protected]. COVID-19 UPDATE: The Georgia Department of Driver Services will now accept other items to prove school enrollment. For more information, please visit the Georgia Department of Driver Service's webpage: https://dds.georgia.gov/teen-drivers-and-covid-19 |

DHS Class Dues are collected to help fund spirit activities and a class t -shirt for each grade. Dues follow each class throughout their four years at DHS, accumulating to ultimately cover the costs for graduation activities. Class dues will be paid via our school’s web store. If you are having issues with the Web Store or if the account shows as expired, please contact Ms. Stephanie Davis and include the student's full name and Student ID #. She will contact you as soon as the issue is resolved on the county's end. Please allow 48 hours. |

Academy of Finance
Since 1999, the DHS Academy of Finance has exposed 11th and 12th grade students to many facets of business to prepare them for the increasingly competitive workplace. Think of it as a “mini” MBA where students take courses in corporate finance, marketing, entrepreneurship, personal finance, AP macroeconomics and international business. The two-year program includes an emphasis on group projects, team competitions, and interaction with local business leaders that sharpen the students' networking skills. The program also challenges students to work in groups to form legitimate businesses.
If you have any questions about the program, please contact Steve Fortenberry at [email protected] or Michael Nash at [email protected].
